Dos and don’ts

Dos

  • Carry a copy of your ID proof while travelling within the city.
  • Stay hydrated.
  • Be respectful of local customs and traditions.
  • Keep your valuables in hotel lockers or safe deposit vaults.
  • Check about photography permission or filming at any monument.
  • Change money only at authorised foreign exchange outlets, banks and hotels. Always insist on a receipt for money changed.
  • In case of loss of any documents, inform the hotel and get in touch with your contact person from HCLTech.
  • For medical assistance, please get in touch with your HCLTech contact person and your hotel.

Don’ts

  • Don’t drink tap water. Ensure that you always drink mineral water or aerated drinks. Ask for mineral water in restaurants.
  • Don’t take photographs of people or places without permission.
  • Don’t accept food or drinks from strangers.
  • Don’t leave your belongings unattended in public places.
